Get Ready to Connect in Europe!
Registration opens 18 August
H-ISAC’s Power Your Network Summit in Santpoort-Noord, Netherlands will be in-person 19-21 October 2021.
Re-energize this fall in the tranquil setting of Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate, just outside of Harlem and only 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Plan to arrive Tuesday afternoon to begin networking. Main sessions are on Wednesday. Come hear keynote speaker and cyber security expert, Mikko Hypponen, provide his insights on recent and future threats. H-ISAC is known for memorable special events and the Wednesday night networking event on the chateau’s premises will not disappoint. You won’t want to miss this Summit!

H-ISAC Board Elections this Fall
It is time for Membership to begin thinking about the upcoming H-ISAC Board elections. There are 6 positions opening up for election this year:
~ • (5) positions for 3-year terms
~ • (1) position for a one year term.
Nominations will be accepted mid-August through September 3rd. Which active and contributing member or members will you nominate? Elections will commence in October and the new Board members will be on-boarded in November and inducted at the Fall Summit. Look for nomination information coming soon.
GATHERING DATA FOR INTELLIGENCE ISLAND
We received over 70 submissions for the H-ISAC November Fall Summit in San Diego. The Fall Summit Content Committee has rolled up its sleeves to begin the review process that consistently concludes with several balanced content tracks of fruitful sessions for attendees.

Health-ISAC Threat Intelligence Center (TOC) Updates
H-ISAC / Microsoft Collaborative Patch Tuesday Podcast
Health-ISAC members have been privy to Patch Tuesday discussions for several months now. H-ISAC and Microsoft have partnered to deliver a new medium for Members to discuss notable vulnerabilities and their patches following monthly Patch Tuesday updates. The August episode will be the 6th broadcast and is typically released 3-4 days after the second Tuesday of the month, which is always Microsoft Patch Tuesday.
H-ISAC Patch Tuesday sessions are hosted by a cyber threat intelligence analyst at H-ISAC Threat Operations Center. Members are encouraged to send all relevant questions for Microsoft ahead of each Patch Tuesday cycle to be answered during the recorded session. H-ISAC conducts the podcast with international Microsoft Security Product Managers who contribute their technical knowledge of the patches.
