Medical IoT device – Why Strong Authentication, Encryption, Security Audits, & Cloud Security Services are Essential!

Medical IoT devices have complicated and widespread security issues. IoT devices can be breached, hacked, or infected with malware. By assuming this risk, something bad could happen.

This talk will discuss IoT device vulnerabilities and safety tips. We’ll discuss why strong authentication, encryption, security audits, and cloud security services are essential.

We’ll discuss cloud service providers’ IoT security accountability and openness requirements. Cloud service providers can safeguard IoT devices by adhering to security standards.

Finally, we’ll discuss the importance of IoT ecosystem collaboration. Our Cloud Security Alliance research community, federal regulators, standard-setting organizations, manufacturers, service providers, and end users. We can make the IoT safer and more reliable if we agree on and use common security practices.

This presentation will be moderated by Health-ISAC’s Director of Member Services and will feature a presentation from Cyber Security Alliance’s Global Vice President of Research.
