Gain best practices from the
Hospital Robocall Protection Group (HRPG)
Wednesday, February 10th at 3pm EST
PLEASE INVITE YOUR
HEALTHCARE INTERNAL TELECOMMUNICATIONS LEADERSHIP!
Come learn best practices recommendations on how voice service providers, hospitals, and Federal and State government agencies can take action together to combat unlawful robocalls made to hospitals.
Hospitals receive fraudulent, disruptive and nuisance robocalls that flood their communications networks leading to potentially negative impact on public health and safety. These malicious calls can disrupt a hospital’s critical communications — threatening patients’ privacy, facilitating unauthorized access to prescription drugs, and diverting hospital resources.
Unlawful robocall schemes include:
- ~ telephone denial-of-service attacks
- ~ targeted social engineering
- ~ phishing and vishing schemes
- ~ robocall campaigns
The Federal Government and communications industry has taken proactive steps to stop unlawful robocalls. Hospitals can take preventative steps to protect their infrastructure and personnel.
Moderated by a Healthcare Provider with the following Panelists:
- ~ Joe DeLotto, Charter Communications
- ~ Patrick Halley, US Telecom
- ~ Creecy Johnson, North Carolina’s Department of Justice
- ~ John Riggi, American Hospital Association
- ~ Kristi Thompson, Federal Communications Commission
