MAZE Ransomware Webinar

Representatives from the H–ISAC Threat Intelligence Committee will discuss the MAZE ransomware including the threat actors behind the malware, trends we’re seeing, and how to avoid becoming a victim.

The MAZE ransomware group has been active since May 2019. The malware was initially directly sent via malicious emails and exploit kits and most recently is being deployed after victims are compromised with another method.  What makes this actor group even more dangerous is that MAZE also maintains a public-facing website where they post data stolen from victims who refuse to pay the ransom fees.
