2019 showed H-ISAC increasing benefits and services for membership across the globe and demonstrating leadership in the health sector. H-ISAC established a Threat Operations Center (TOC) in the United States and created the H-ISAC European Council as well as the Japan H-ISAC Council.

Here are some more highlights of the year:

Membership increased by 21 percent. The ISAC implemented Membership Review calls for all members and developed and implemented a Membership Engagement Dashboard. On new member check-in surveys, member satisfaction is 4.5/5.

INTELLIGENCE AND OPERATIONS

In the 4th quarter of 2019, the H-ISAC TOC started to produce new threat Intelligence products including the Daily Cyber Headlines, the Cyber Threat Level, Daily Physical Security Threat Intelligence and Monthly Threat Briefings. As just one example, 160 members on average attended the Monthly Threat Briefings in 2019. The TOC published 12 alerts to members, issued 2,080 Indicators of Compromise and held 3 briefings and webinars on a variety of threats. Additionally, during calendar year 2019, the TOC notified 93 non-H-ISAC-member healthcare organizations of imminent victimization.
